Thank you for following my blog :) I’m happy to hear you’ve overcome your phobias and I think it’s very brave of you to have written a book about your experiences. Helping others is also an added bonus!

First off, don’t be discouraged. I haven’t sold as many books as I would have liked, but I keep plowing on. Debut authors often have a difficult time, because we’re building a fan base and that doesn’t happen overnight for 99.9% of people. I’ll give you a few suggestions that might help you. Try and get your book reviewed by as many bloggers as possible, especially those who have large followings. There are several groups on here where you can post requests for reviewers. It might take some time to go through the Groups category to find the appropriate ones, but it’s one of the best ways to meet bloggers. Doing an Internet Radio Interview is also a great way to get the word out about your book. I did one back in February. I have info on my blog about my experience with The Author Show. You have to go to their website and fill out a request to be interviewed. The interview will air once, for free, on a specific date, but you can purchase marketing packages to have it aired more than once. Of course, anytime there’s any news about your book, you’ll want to post links everywhere. Do this on Book Blogs, Twitter, Facebook, if you don’t have a FB author page, create one, etc… I hope I’ve given you some good tips :) Good luck.
