| Summary: In "Brown Dwarf Spawning: Green Glow - Vol. #1," Sally Smith is a 40-something nurse ready to finally leave her second husband until she discovers she's pregnant. She determines to stick it out for their late-life surprise child until Roger, her mild-mannered husband, grows obsessed with an object that fell from the sky. Then Roger’s college friend, a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, calls to say that Roger just might have found something special after all. All Sally can think about is protecting their new baby and how to deal with the challenges of her marriage. But Roger, a junior high geology teacher fascinated with all minerals and gemstones, is oblivious and can think of nothing but his peculiar rock. When Roger undergoes bizarre and frightening personality changes, after long exposure to the unusual green glow of the debris of the Brown Dwarf, and threatens her physically, Sally grows terribly frightened. Increasingly afraid of her husband, what will happen when she won't allow him to keep it in the house anymore?! |
