- I love to read! Thanks to Twitter, various forums and my husband's new connections, I have come into contact with many new authors and various new titles of books, novellas, short stories and anthologies, so I decided that it would be fun to do reviews on my reading endeavors. Horror, being my favorite genre, is my focus, but I do and will foray into other realms from time to time. Since, I am typically over-caffinated, I try to set my reviews to around the length it would take to drink a nice cuppa joe...thus the Doubleshot Reviews name and the espresso rating system.

I am pretty new to this site myself and to the world of blog! So just thought I would drop you a line.
I have found it to be a great place to network with readers and writers alike, and being passionate about both this is right up my alley.

I am not new to the internet, but forums tend to make me nervous and overwhelmed with all the rules etc...I don't want to post in the wrong place. lol I will start out slowly figuring things out as I go.
