- My name is Heather and I am a 21 year old currently living in North Carolina, USA. I have always loved to read because it has always provided a safe and fantastic means of escape from the sometimes cruel world. A book to me is more than just paper and ink, it is a magical place I can be anyone that I want to be. That is one of the reasons I started this blog. One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends.
