J. L. Ficks has not received any gifts yet

The Chronicles of Covent is multi-part vision and a fresh approach to epic fantasy story-telling. Our goal is to offer our readers a new fantasy experience through powerful writing, eye-capturing artwork and an interactive web experience. Our vision could not be caged by any single book or trilogy.
We have hundreds of characters, races, factions, creatures and places to introduce. Our readers have complimented our powerfully visual writing style, our remarkably memorable world and our substantial stride to restoring the lost art of fantasy naming. Every book we release will reveal new characters, races, creatures, places and artwork. We invite you to come along and explore our world at the ChroniclesofCovent.com.
Waiting Game is the first in a long line of books. It revolves around Shade, a coldhearted Dark Eleven assassin, who was trained in the elite ranks of the legendary Unseen of Jui-Sae. An action-packed ride of dizzying blades and jaw-dropping foes. A tale of pride and criminals, Shade stakes his life and reputation against a powerful mobster to prove once and for all that he is the true killer of killers…

Hi JL and welcome!
Have you been receiving many welcome messages lately? Bet you’re overwhelmed! Well, one more won’t hurt, right? We are one lively bunch here at Book Blogs…and now you’re part of it! Hope you enjoy the network as much as I do. If there’s anything I can do for you, please let me know. Also, when you have the time, please check out my blog at irregulartherapy.blogspot.com (with a new post fresh out of the oven!) and website at www.irregulartherapy.com.

Hi! Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then join me at The Agent Challenge. After all, the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors. Drawing from followers at the end of February!

Hello and welcome to Book Blogs. It is a great place for people who love books.
As a welcome gift I am offering you a free e-book download of “The Happenstance Marshal”. Simply go to my Book Blog site for instructions on how to download. The offer is good until Feb 28.
I think you will enjoy “being here”.
Mike

Oh and I have no clue about the RSS. I think it has something to do with adding your blog site there, but I've never attempted to use it. Sorry I couldn't help you on that front.

You're welcome, JL :) Thank you for the kind words about my blog. I just changed it last week, because I wanted a cleaner more professional look. I decided on a single column template and added pages in hopes of making it more like a website that doubles as a blog as opposed to just a blog. I made my book trailer last October through Windows Movie Maker. It was actually quite easy. I just played around with it one evening and when I was satisfied with what I created, I posted it to YouTube.

You can google the term RSS - it depends on which blogging platform you use to find out which one is right for you.
I had someone do my layouts on both my blogs. Simply Fabulous did my adult one and Lori at Pure Imagination did my YA blog.
I don't know what an API is....sorry
Jean Vogler said… Hi there! Welcome to Book Blogs. I have been part of this community for just 4 months now, and I must say this is the friendliest bunch of bloggers you will ever meet. I would love for you to come by and visit my blog, Finding Your Gibbee.

Hello J.L.,
Welcome to Book Blogs, I have forged many friendships here with avid readers and prolific writers. We help each other out and have a great time while we do so. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Archway to Acknowledgement is a group that can increase your following on twitter if you are interested in that.
I have joined many groups that fit the topics I write about and that can help me market my debut novel and prepare me for the one I will release next spring. If you get a chance please check out http://www.TheBridgeofDeaths.com a Paranormal, Historical Romance. I hope you enjoy Book Blogs as much as I have,
Catalina
