New Epic Fantasy Series seeking reviews. 2 books available!

I am seeking reviewers for 2 books from the new fantasy series the Chronicles of Covent. Of course, I am not asking any reviewer to review both books, but to chose the one they'd like to review most. These are mostly stand alone tales, so you don't need to read book one to get book two. Waiting Game (tale one) By J. L.…See More

Happy Holidays from the Chronicles of Covent...

Greetings blog-readers! I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone happy holidays! Just a few short announcements. I know I had promised Shade 2 would be released at the end of 2012, but it seems Christmas has snuck up on me this year. The book is on the last few chapters of its final proof and I am so excited…See More

'The Brand is Growing... I’m very excited to announce I’ve holding the first proof of Shade 2 in my hands! It’s pretty cool to be holding not one, but two Chronicles of Covent books in my hand. Not Sold on the Wii U (Part 2 of 2, Yes I Kept it to 2)

Sorry blog-readers part two of this blog has been so long in coming. I’ve been immensely productive on our book series. I completed two full proofing runs of Shade II, seven more chapters of Elf Wars, three totally new chapters of the finished book one of Adventure Series and even six full chapters of the completely overhauled Triloriad. As result, the importance of my ranting on the Wii U felt small by comparison. That said, let me jump back on the whine wagon.Ok, ok, onto my hardcore…See More

About Me:
J. L. Ficks graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in English Studies. He worked as a freelance writer and ghostwriter for six years. He now works as an adjuster and spends his spare time working on his own writing during low storm activity periods. His co-author, J. E. Dugue, and he grew up together and spent over 15 years pouring their thoughts, love and imaginations into the monstrously huge world of Covent.

He is married to his lovely wife of tens years and enjoys playing with his son, who some say is as full of adventure as his father.
Website or Blog:
http://www.chroniclesofcovent.com

The Chronicles of Covent is multi-part vision and a fresh approach to epic fantasy story-telling. Our goal is to offer our readers a new fantasy experience through powerful writing, eye-capturing artwork and an interactive web experience.  Our vision could not be caged by any single book or trilogy.

We have hundreds of characters, races, factions, creatures and places to introduce.  Our readers have complimented our powerfully visual writing style, our remarkably memorable world and our substantial stride to restoring the lost art of fantasy naming.  Every book we release will reveal new characters, races, creatures, places and artwork. We invite you to come along and explore our world at the ChroniclesofCovent.com.

Waiting Game is the first in a long line of books.  It revolves around Shade, a coldhearted Dark Eleven assassin, who was trained in the elite ranks of the legendary Unseen of Jui-Sae. An action-packed ride of dizzying blades and jaw-dropping foes. A tale of pride and criminals, Shade stakes his life and reputation against a powerful mobster to prove once and for all that he is the true killer of killers…

Hi! Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then join me at The Agent Challenge. After all, the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors. Drawing from followers at the end of February!

Oh and I have no clue about the RSS. I think it has something to do with adding your blog site there, but I've never attempted to use it. Sorry I couldn't help you on that front.

You're welcome, JL :) Thank you for the kind words about my blog. I just changed it last week, because I wanted a cleaner more professional look. I decided on a single column template and added pages in hopes of making it more like a website that doubles as a blog as opposed to just a blog. I made my book trailer last October through Windows Movie Maker. It was actually quite easy. I just played around with it one evening and when I was satisfied with what I created, I posted it to YouTube.

You can google the term RSS - it depends on which blogging platform you use to find out which one is right for you.

I had someone do my layouts on both my blogs.  Simply Fabulous did my adult one and Lori at Pure Imagination did my YA blog.

I don't know what an API is....sorry
