Rose Tinted In ebook via Kindle

Protagonist Addison wakes from his slumber following a succession of sounds; explosions in the capital city of an unnamed nation. William has been awake for some time, as has Claude. What follows is the emotional rollercoaster of those in the immediate vicinity, like Claude in the Ires High Hotel. Then there are those in the neighbouring boroughs, like Addison and William of Northwoods Road. Addison is a relatively recent addition to Northwoods; William has been a resident of the street for a little longer. Both Addison and William seem destined to have ended up on the street but for very different reasons. William, a retiree spends most of his time as an amateur horticulturalist. Addison is an attorney at law. Claude Bedell is an investigative journalist for the best selling paper in the city, ‘The Spectacle’. Though the majority of Claude’s stories fail to make print, they are regularly published on The Spectacle’s internet page. Rose Tinted follows individual reactions in the face of a terrorist attack. Confusion, abhorrent fear, apoplexy and panic are common emotions, but some are more prominent than others in this dystopian novella.
