About Me:
My name is Jazz. I am what my mother calls a musical theater junkie. I love to dance and have my own dance studio. I love to make people happy and I mentor children.

I am currently obsessed with writing blogs. The first blog I decided to create was my About Books Blog. It is a blog intended to inspire people that don't really like to read to give it a try. I review books of all genres, and I am always open to suggestions.

Hi, would you please look at this post about a children's book giveaway for everyone, I thought you may be interested since you are a member of the children's book group: http://bookblogs.ning.com/group/childrensbooks/forum/topics/looking-for-bloggers-to-host

Do you write children’s books reviews and interesting things in the children’s world of books? If so, Story Time For Me is a really cool kids website for animated storybooks.

If you have kids 8 or under I would be happy to give you some free books as well to try out.

Happy Holidays!

I am the national bestselling, award winning author of six critically acclaimed novels.

On Jan 9th, 2010 my debut novel, SUGAR will celebrate its 10th anniversary and in order to commemorate this milestone I am campaigning to sell 10,000 copies between now and that date.

“Bernice L. McFadden's first novel begins with the brief, poetic description of a crime so startling that the reader is helplessly drawn in, as if a bright red door stood ajar on a bleak and forbidding house. Pearl Taylor's daughter, Jude, has been found murdered and mutilated near a field at the edge of town. "The murder had white man written all over it," writes McFadden. "But no one would say it above a whisper. It was 1940. It was Bigelow, Arkansas. It was a black child. Need any more be said?" In the years that follow, Pearl catches sight of Jude in so many strangers that when Sugar Lacey comes to town and sets up her unwholesome "business" in the house next door, she doesn't know whether to believe what she sees in Sugar's face: a striking similarity to Jude, dead 15 years. In her sedate but supple prose--rising at times to a light, unforced lyricism in the description of landscape or character--the author perfectly renders the closed and protective society of a small Southern town, the superstitions, gossip, and prying.”

I’m asking that you purchase a copy of SUGAR for yourself, a friend or family member. Sugar is also available on KINDLE. And if you could help spread the word by blogging, twittering ad Face-booking my campaign, it would mean the world to me.

Peace & Light,
Bernice L. McFadden

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm a fellow book blogger in Tennessee. I'm trying to contact any/all Tennessee book bloggers who would be interested in being part of a Tennessee Book Bloggers group. Similar to the Utah Book Bloggers. You can read more about them at Natasha of Maw Books Blog's guest post on the BBAW blog. Here's the link: http://bookbloggerappreciationweek.com/index.php/site/friendships_that_are_real_by_natasha_of_maw_books_blog/#When:23:00:05Z

I would initially organize us in an online group on ning or something like it and eventually we would start having social meetings periodically (which would probably be held in Nashville, which is where I'm located). The social meetings might be a ways off until we get a good group going.

Please let me know if you're interested. My blog url is http://thetruebookaddict.blogspot.com/ Please stop by and check it out. I hope that you will consider joining...we (technically I since there is no "we" yet) would love to have you!

Hope to speak with you soon.
