About Me:
I am 27-years-old. I live with my husband of 5 years. I have a social work degree and currently work for the Child Protection Team. My job includes forensic interviews, psychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, etc. I am also working on a Master's degree in Counseling.

I love reading (of course) and I don't let much get in the way of it. =) My favorite genres are contemporary fiction and mysteries/thrillers.

Thanks for the welcome! And I'm glad you like my blog. I decided nearly a year ago that I wanted to read all the Newbery medal books, and only just recently got around to setting up a blog to write reviews about them.

Why children's books? Well, they're often fun, whimsical, and are usually written in a tight, straightforward way. Old favorites can also bring back fond memories.

That's so nice of you! I'm trying to update it every day about various things, but mostly books, so feel free to check back any time! So you love mystery/thrillers? Would you be able to recommend a good one for me? I don't have much experience in that genre, but would really love to get into it!
