I am 27-years-old. I live with my husband of 5 years. I have a social work degree and currently work for the Child Protection Team. My job includes forensic interviews, psychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, etc. I am also working on a Master's degree in Counseling.
I love reading (of course) and I don't let much get in the way of it. =) My favorite genres are contemporary fiction and mysteries/thrillers.
I'd love for you to stop by my blog TakeMeAway for a visit!
Thanks for the welcome! And I'm glad you like my blog. I decided nearly a year ago that I wanted to read all the Newbery medal books, and only just recently got around to setting up a blog to write reviews about them.
Why children's books? Well, they're often fun, whimsical, and are usually written in a tight, straightforward way. Old favorites can also bring back fond memories.
Hi Jenny, thank you for the lovely compliment! Can't wait to comment back and forth on our blogs together - its the fuzziest feeling! Yes I did indeed join the Alice chalenge - I'll sign up to Mr Linky when I figure out the timeframe and the order in which I'll read/watch the alice-themed books/movies, watch out for me link for sure! <3
That's so nice of you! I'm trying to update it every day about various things, but mostly books, so feel free to check back any time! So you love mystery/thrillers? Would you be able to recommend a good one for me? I don't have much experience in that genre, but would really love to get into it!
HI Jenny! Isn't it crazy? I wish it paid well and I would live happily ever after :) This is a neat site. I'm still exploring but I think I found some neat resources.
Has anyone else stopped getting e-mails when new posts are added to groups? I checked my settings and they're correct but I haven't gotten any e-mails in a while.
