About Me:
My name is Joanne Wooding I was born in Bury England in 1969 and moved to Vancouver Canada with my family in 1976.
I graduated high school in 1987 and went straight away to working in the stock market in Vancouver where I worked for 11 years before meeting my husband and moving to Portugal.
My Husband and I have lived in Portugal for 13 years now and are parents to 3 loving daughters.
When I was pregnant with my third child I experienced some complications, and was bed ridden for the last few months of my pregnancy. Having to stay in bed for so long, and reading all the books we had in the house I decided to write my own.
Love Lost was the novel I wrote during this period, and has become one of my babies that I love. When I feel down I find reading Love Lost again takes me back to a place where my life really changed and I found a passion I was too busy to realise existed in me. I now take whatever free time I have to do what I love most, which is write.
I am currently working on a new age vampire trilogy and you can find the first two books of The Order on Amazon with the third book almost complete.
I don't think any kind of job can be as satisfying as being a mother and a writer.

Hello,
I came across your website, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.
My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.
It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.
The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.
My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.
kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Hey,

Welcome to Book Blogs! (:

We’re Anastasia & Demitra. We’ve been members for a little while now. We noticed you were new, so we decided to drop by and say ‘hi!’ Book Blogs seems complicated, doesn’t it? It’s like that at first, but we promise it won’t be long until you’re chatting up all the members on here (: If there’s anything we can help you with, just let us know. We’d be glad to help.

We also have a fairly-new Young Adult (YA) book blog, and we'd love it if you’d come and check us out at: http://characterized.blogspot.com/

You can also find me on: TwitterFacebookTumblr and Goodreads.

We'd be sure to follow you back as well!

~ Anastasia & Demitra

Welcome to book blogs! I write children's books and medical reference. (The two may be related in some way...) I've published three books with one of the big 5, and keep a blog for up-and-coming writers about navigating the difficult waters of the publishing world. I also keep a separate blog for people with CFS/ME.
