Intoxicated by Books left a comment for John A. MeyerReason I ask, she's become my platform, ever since I spent a harrowing eight weeks with her in 1968.
Tried to rescue her from her demons: drugs and alcohol. Didn't work, (and almost cost me my health) but got such an intense, up-close view of this extraordinary lady that I was able to publish a memoir, Heartbreaker, about the experience. So now I'm known as The Judy Garland Guy. Well, when God gives you lemons....so I sat down and wrote a novel, and…

Hi John:
I never charge for reviews. I just get the pleasure of reading your book in exchange for my honest opinion. :) Feel free to contact me through Book Blogs or through my business email at pagesofgoldreviews@gmail.com. I look forward to working with you!

John A. Meyer said… Hey Violet -I'm way ahead -Natural News just posted results of the European Chocolate Study that revealed
many heart-protective benefits that choclit delivers. I've been buying Lindt and Godiva and Green & Black bars now for several years. Also, Citarella's producing their own now. Yummy! I also drink a lot of red wine -mostly Burgundy.
Love your Coroline drawing, do you do the artwork?

Jill Elizabeth said… Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm rather new myself - still figuring things out, but so far have been quite pleased with how much support/feedback/help are available... If there's anything I can help with just let me know - I can't promise answers (well, I can technically promise answers, just not that they are correct/useful - teehee), but I've managed to pick up a trick or two that I'm happy to share!
And if you have a second, please stop by my blog - www.Jill-Elizabeth.com - I'm always happy to get comments or new followers!
Best of luck to you -

John:
I'm glad you found Girl In The Blue Beret to be a good book recommendation. That's music to my ears and truly the reason why I wanted to have a book blog! I am also a big fan of WWII books. The best one I've read recently is Those Who Save Us by Jenna Blum. The writing was amazing and it was a very interesting perspective.
Do you have any specific questions about Book Blogs? As I mentioned, I'm a fairly new member myself but if I don't know the answer I would certainly be willing to help you find it!
Hope you're enjoying Book Blogs so far. Thanks very much for checking out my blog!
