Hi,

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. I am writing because my debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available, and I was hoping you might be willing to mention it on your blog (or review it). If you're interested, I'd be glad to send you an e-book version of the book. Just let me know. I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:

Thanks so much,
Chris

Hi Judi,

I just wanted to stop by and say hello. If you get a free moment, stop by my page.

I liked your blog, and your doggie is cute too.

I keep hot, buttery-sweet cinnamon rolls on the cyber-table at all times—go ahead, grab two.

Have a great day and a successful year,
Lynda

I'm working on the Black Magic Woman now. It is a bit slow going as I am having to hurry up and read Succubus on Top by Richelle Mead (urban fantasy/paranormal romance) and The Queen's Bastard by C.E. Murphy (historical fiction fantasy) as they have to be returned in 11 days to the library. Argh! So far so good though.

I have no clue why amazon hates me. I think I got to post two reviews before it started. Amazon is trying to help, but to be ;honest, they are clueless as well at the moment.

Ack...why the heck does amazon have it fixed you have to BUY a book before you can review? I prefer using other sources (that are cheaper) to get my books. No other online bookstore has this problem. Now I have to see if my husband remembers his password. You ever have this problem? Which store do you use the most?

We both are LOTS better. Now I am just suffering from cabin fever as we have a severe gas shortage in my state due to some people's stupidity as well as hurricane Ike and Gustav. Very sad. I did get that Black Magic Woman book today in the mail! So that should help till I can get to the local libraries (which they closed for the week due to gas shortage )and bookstores. I uderstand why they did it and agree, but that book nut side of me is going crazy.

I am off to figure out how to sign in to my account on amazon. Seems there are some rabid anti-fans to the new Dune book out who refuse to let anyone put up fair reviews without verbally attacking. So of course I feel the need to share my opinion just because I am evil that way. >;)

Hope things are improving for you and NO more computer problems! Have a great night!
