Review Policies
Whether you are an established author or releasing your first book; published professionally or independently; hardcover, paperback, or ebook - I'd love to read your book and share my opinion.
I offer Reviews, Spotlights, Cover Release Announcements, Interviews, and Guest Posts to Authors of (virtually) all genres and publication sources.
All reviews are posted (on Tuesdays and Fridays - Only, as of 01/01/2013) to my blog, Amazon, Goodreads,Shelfari, and (starting 01/14/2013) Book Blogs. All I ask, in return:
- Review my policies: Ad & Review Policies before submitting your book;
- I do not review erotica or accept guest posts containing 'questionable' topics or language; Random Musings is a family-friendly blog, attached to my personal business.
- You must provide a review copy of your book: print or Kindle-compatible ebook; I do not charge for reviews, please don't 'charge' me to review your book.
- Include any media: book cover, purchase links, author bio, etc. which you would like included with the review. I can hunt them down, but would prefer to receive them from you.
- Review time is, currently, 3 months from receipt of book. If you are on a tight schedule - let me know immediately; I can (probably) rearrange my schedule to accommodate a rush review. (April & May 2013 are currently closed; June 2013 is tight.)
- If your book has not been carefully and thoroughly edited (filled with typos and grammatical errors) - before posting an extremely negative review, I will allow you one (1) opportunity to withdraw the review request or update the book.
