The Hunger Games Trilogy

There’s a certain emptiness that comes with the ending to a book. All of the hours you spend reading. Weeks, some times years. Getting to know the characters. And then it ends. It’s over. Now what do you do? Finishing something that affected you so much. It hurts, closing a book that ends a series.I was literally breaking down during the last ten pages, when she started yelling at Buttercup. It was the saddest thing ever.I didn’t want it to end. Even after I turned the last page, even after I…See More

The Hunger Games

Took a short break from Swan Song.Oh my goodnes. This is probobly the best book I have read beyond Harry Potter. I just don't really know where to start. This book made me feel so many emotions. I was laughing one second then crying the next. I never wanted to put it down. It was completely amazing. I hope everyone will read it or has read it. If not you're missing out on something amazing.I started Catching Fire today, so far so good.See More

Swan Song

I started reading this book on a 9 hour plane ride to Germany. It is completely captivating really. It is about a post apocolyptic world and the book follows three groups of people in their fight for survival. There is also magic. A young girl can save the world after the disaster.Really amazing. I havent finished yet. It's 856 pages. But I am almost done. And honestly I do not want it to end.Anyways, I would reconemd this book to anyone who likes thrillers, suspense and long reads. It has…See More

Go Ask Alice June 6-7 2011

Hey!Just finished reading Go Ask Alice. I literally started crying at the end. It was so sad. If anyone has read it before you know what I am talking about. What is more sad is if you think about the age of this girl. 15-17 years old. And everyone else she met throughout her journey in the 1970's. I can't believe some people actually have to go through what she did.She seemed so much at peace at the end. I felt like she was one of my friends. I don't know what happened, but I would like to.  I…See More

Hey Katherine,

I went through Wordpress for my blog, but only because I had heard of from another writer friend of mine and it was recommended by a book I read on marketing my ebook.  I know a lot of other bloggers use Blogger (that makes sense, eh?).  I've been pleased with the ease of Wordpress.  The only thing I don't like is that they don't have a widget (those features on the side columns) to show who is following your blog like they do on Blogger.  Otherwise, I'm not sure what the major differences are.
