The prize for the winning school? a Golden Elephant and a trip to Albania where the Monster King lives. You really think this one might catch on? I thought it was a good idea, but I wasn't sure if I should try it on Twitter or the blog. I think thats a great idea to feel out some responses first!
Lets do it! We can start this Saturday and I will see if a few more people want to join in!
Thanks for the encouragement!

Hi Kathy
It has been a while. Markelle and I continue to spread the word about her novel. She has had 2 book signings and her 3rd is this weekend, with a 4th scheduled in August. She has had an internet interview, been "author of the month" on one bloggers site and was recently reviewed by Jamie. Lots of work, yet tons of fun. She and her editor are gearing up to get book 2 in the series out by December. I am working on finding some other professional reviewers, but the ones I have found all want money for their review. If you know of any, please let me know. Thanks and happy reading!
Always glad to meet more YA Bloggers,
Hope you are enjoying what you are reading currently,
I would love for you to check out my YA blog,

Hi Kathy,
Yes. This is all new to us and we are learning the "book blog" ropes. Right now Markelle is spending a lot of time studying for her 3 AP tests. End year concerts, and PROm..etc. Once the school year comes to a close she and I will do some serious investigating to find reviewers. I don't know much about the blog tours. Guidance on this would be very much appreciated.

Hi Kathy,
As a retired English teacher I think you'd be proud of my 17 year old daughters accomplishment. Her English teacher is estactic. She just had her first YA Fantasy Fiction Novel published. Journey into the Realm: The Elf Girl by Markelle Grabo. If you are interested please go give her website a look www.markellegrabo.com. This series is suitable for all ages. I am pleased to say that the mixture of danger, adventure, magic and even a little romance unfolds a great story. All that with no sex, drugs or foul language included. You can read the first chapter and get to know the author a bit more on her page. I hope it grabs your interest.
