The best tips I have for you are: just keep blogging. You might feel like you're shouting to no one but the there are people reading. Many, many readers are just quiet. Also don't isolate yourself. Make sure you comment and read other blogs. That's the only sure fire way to develop a real readership and a relationship with other blogs. Hope that helps!
