The Trail of Tears was a horrendous event in our American history, yet a nation stood by and watch as a completely civilized tribe were kicked off of their lands and marched by force to a land no one wanted. I am an author of Native American historical fiction mysteries. I have a series called Mysteries From The Trail of Tears with the first book, Wheezer and the Painted Frog. Second book to be out by May 2012. I have enjoyed a long career as a singer and entertainer in Branson, Missouri where I performed as Kitty Kelley in my own show. Because of health I am no longer doing a daily show, so I have returned to my long love of writing.
My home town is Kansas City, Missouri and I am married to a wonder Cherokee artist who makes all kinds of Native American art and regalia. Also, flutes, mocs, beading, fans, canes, drums, etc.
