About Me:

My friends call me a literacy advocate. I'm consumed with books. In my former life, I worked in reference publishing. I talked with librarians all day. It was a wonderful life but I wanted more. I was more interested in reading books and learning than sales, so I ended my career with my employer, but my passion for literature and literacy and diversity and multiculturalism burns even stronger today.

I run an online community, Color Online. We focus of women writers of color.My favorite genres are multicultural lit, women's lit, YA and I'm developing a keen interest in sci-fi and fantasy particularly those works with urban settings.
