P.S.
I was going to send an email but I needed to do the friend request first. SO, I'm going to send it here for now. Sorry for the long comment on your page.
The energy I've created and received by doing what I love has been so incredible. It thrills me to know that it is translating across the blogosphere. I truly appreciate your observations and support.
To answer your question, I've been preparing to write a short story about the fire. I've tried to include a bit of that experience in two different novels but it was never right. Recently, I was telling a humorous story about this amazing woman back in Cali--Rina, my hairdresser. She's a single Afghan mom and a very popular singer in her country. She is gorgeous and energetic. A friend said I should write a short story about her. Now suddenly, I have a list of short stories. I'm thinking about a small collection to release on kindle. We'll see.
Cheers,
Ellen

Welcome Laura!
Hope you enjoy it here? it can be a bit overwhelming I am pretty new to this site myself and to the world of blog!
I have found it to be a great place to network with readers and writers alike, and being passionate about both this is right up my alley.
I am currently working on my debut novel, a Paranormal Romance called “This Life” which you can check out on my blog http://can-duu.blogspot.com/
Hope to see you there!

Hi Laura,
Thank-you for joining my group of friends on Book Blogs. You can give a red ribbon to someone for free from the gift shop as a thank-you etc. Any other gift giffs from the gift shop costs money!! My advice is to just take your time and explore the site. Explore the different groups you can find here and gather up some friends! This is a fairly simple site to navigate which you should be able to manage quite easily afer a bit of exploring!:-)
