Hello, dear Laura!

He is considered the most innovative of the Brazilian modernists. Besides having been a precursor of the Tropicália movement and of the "marginal poetry" of the 70s, de Andrade wrote three major manifestos: the Pau-Brasil Poetry Manifesto (1924), Pau Brasil (1925) and the Anthropophagic Manifesto (1928). He also introduced Brazilian literature to experimental prose with Memórias Sentimentais de João Miramar (1924).Visit me plase: http://nelsonsouzza.blogspot.com/2011/07/memorias-sentimentais-de-joao-miramar.html

Thanks! Have a nice day!

Laura,

I've been following you for a while and you and I've chatted about books (I'm starting My Sister's Keeper today), so yeah, I'm a supporter. But let me just say that you are fast becoming my go-to blog for reviews. You have exceptional style and talent. I am impressed every time. I sent your Georgia Bottoms review to my facebook page and commented on your post.

I really wish you would add the followers option to your blog. I want to witness your numbers grow!

Cheers,

Ellen

Hey Laura!

I’m a newbie to this site and to big bad world of blog, so just thought I would make myself known. I’m an avid reader and writer.

I am currently writing a Paranormal Romance called “This Life” you can check it on my blog http://can-duu.blogspot.com/

It’s has been really great to connect with like minded people here, and though this site was overwhelming at first but now I’m loving it!

Have a great day!!

Oh that makes me so excited. I know very little because I shut me ears when the movie came out. I've started Guinevere, Queen of the Summer Country. I enjoy Arthurian legend but as a loyalist to Marion Zimmer Bradley, I'm not sure I can get sucked into this adaptation. Hmmmm - I smell a blog.

Anyway, I'll give this a fair shot (it's a true insult if I don't finish a book) and then I'll read Picoult next! I'm excited.

Cheers,

E
