As a character driven author, Great Succession Crisis felt effortless as I let the characters flow through my fingers. It was the EDITORIAL that I found most difficult -- cutting out scenes, condensing information, and making the structure flow in an optimal way. In the end, I found myself completely re-writing the final chapter in order the build suspense, avoid…

Hey,
Welcome to Book Blogs! (:
We’re Anastasia & Demitra. We’ve been members for a little while now. We noticed you were new, so we decided to drop by and say ‘hi!’ Book Blogs seems complicated, doesn’t it? It’s like that at first, but we promise it won’t be long until you’re chatting up all the members on here (: If there’s anything we can help you with, just let us know. We’d be glad to help.
We also have a fairly-new Young Adult (YA) book blog, and we'd love it if you’d come and check us out at: http://characterized.blogspot.com/
You can also find me on: Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Goodreads.
We'd be sure to follow you back as well!

To sign up for emails from blogs such as mine (http://www.thestuffofsuccess.com) you just go to the site directly, look for the email subscription option in the sidebar and complete the process. You will then get an email from Feedburner (the email service) for you to confirm the link.
Virtual book tours are through companies that basically do the work for authors and get their books out to bloggers etc... to do all sorts of work for them - reviews, interviews, guest posts, features, cover reveals etc... If you email me I can send you the list that I have built of tour sites. thestuffofsuccess at gmail dot com.
And for me to review a book - just email me details about yourself, media sites etc... as well as a file of the book - pdf, epub or mobi (preferable). I can convert any of them. Then I will email you back once I publish the review. I publish them on my blog, amazon and goodreads as well as twitter and facebook.
If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them. Thanks Athena

Hi!
Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My debut novel Taste has just been released by Crescent Moon Press last April 30, 2012.
At Barinkoff Academy, there's only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. With his pale skin, dark eyes, and mesmerizing voice, Demitri is both irresistible and impenetrable. He warns her to stay away from his dangerous world of flesh eaters. Unfortunately, the gorgeous and playful Luka has other plans.
When Phoenix is caught between her physical and her emotional attraction, she becomes the keeper of a deadly secret that will rock the foundations of an ancient civilization living beneath Barinkoff Academy. Phoenix doesn’t realize until it is too late that the closer she gets to both Demitri and Luka the more she is plunging them all into a centuries old feud.
