On the first of November 2010, I committed to a full year of "reading for change", taking (at least) one positive action in the world with every book under my belt. My blog is dedicated to recording this journey. Stop by any time to see how it's going. I think you'll enjoy it. And, hey, maybe you'll join me.
And, hey, in May 2011, I reached out to other readers by founding my own ning at ActionReaders.com. It's free, it's fun: Come join us!

Hey Laurie, i have lost 5 pounds. I am cheating a little. i have to suck on a small piece of hard candy like those red round hot type candies. i must increase my exercising, i do stretch. I'm also drinking a cleansing tea, not green tea. that may have contributed to some of the weight loss. Today, i had 2 baked fish, a salad with green peppers, red peppers, onions and two small eggs sliced in it. one cup of tea. breakfast was a small salad, two small bowls. i really need to go grocery shopping for my whole home. must pick up yogurt too. how has it been for you. inbox me. lol
