About Me:
I'm a public librarian in Massachusetts who loves to give reading suggestions, whether asked or not, a specialty known in the library world as "reader's advisory". I read a lot -- mostly literary, genre, and young adult fiction, but also short stories and memoirs -- and listen to audiobooks. Newer favorites include Jennifer Egan, Laurie R. King, Lionel Shriver, Carolyn Parkhurst, Penny Vincenzi, Michael Connelly, Alexander McCall Smith, Orson Scott Card, Patrick Rothfuss, and Cassandra Clare. Older favorites are Lorrie Moore, Anne Tyler, Ian McEwan, Susan Howatch, Joanna Trollope, and Connie Willis.

Welcome Laurie!

Hope you enjoy it here? it can be a bit overwhelming I am pretty new to this site myself and to the world of blog!

I have found it to be a great place to network with readers and writers alike, and being passionate about both this is right up my alley.

I am currently working on my debut novel, a Paranormal Romance called “This Life” which you can check out on my blog http://can-duu.blogspot.com/

Hope to see you there!

Hi Laurie;

Welcome to book blogs. Hope you enjoy your experience. I'm from CT and in Natick, MA now, with my grandchildren.

Like your blog but could you have more spacing in your paragraphs on your blog? It's a bit hard for my old eyes to read.

Mike

Stop by at my blog, maybe we could follow each other.
