I recently went through old photos of our family homestead to find new photos to revamp my book covers. (It’s been twenty years since I wrote Butter in the Well, my first book…so I thought it was time for updates.) Because…

Our early and mild spring weather has given us beautiful flowers this year. My back patio is a fragrant experience with roses and iris blooming right now.
When my yellow iris shows it first bloom, I think of the old cemetery that is on the top hill of one of our family’s pasture. There hasn’t been anyone buried there for decades, but years ago someone planted…

We’re in the process of building our own house, doing almost all of the work ourselves. This week I’ve been pounding in nails on wall edging, and taping and mudding sheet rock. My finger joints and wrists feel like they could break off as they are so tired and sore.
But then I think of this diary entry from Butter in the Well…

Hi Linda,
Many thanks for the warm welcome! I am a fairly new blogger, and looking forward to checking out your site - American history is one of my great interests, though I mainly review romance novels. I have ancestors who lived in Kansas ca. 1890's, so I will read more at your site with great interest! My blog is at http://badassromance.com/
best,
Pamela

Hi Linda!
For now, we don't accept requests but if you want a promo or book blitz, please email me at anordinaryquote@yahoo.com :)

Greetings Linda,
Thank you for understanding and have a great week.
Angela

Greetings Linda, Just hold off until mid-June before sending me your book. As long as your book is family-friendly I will work it into next month. I am trying to catch up on reviewing some now... Just send me another note mid-June and I will email you my mailing address to send the book if that is okay. I am going to be offline this weekend, for it is mother's day and I need to regroup. .... Hi Linda--like other "newbie" comments that I've read--I'm still finding my way around this site--but it seems incredible.
Thanks for being in touch.

Hi Linda, Thanks for the warm welcome.
Hope to chat soon.

Thanks for the great welcome Linda!

Greetings I did visit your website and I review books as well. I can remember the older ladies when they would make quilts very colorful .... your book sounds like a good book to review. I would love to review it around June sometime if you still are in search for book reviewers. (Right now I am behind on some of my reviews for in the months of December and January I had the flu and a bad sinus infection....

Thanks for the welcome. I am trying to learn how to use this new site. I am overwhelmed by the task of marketing my two YA books while trying to write the 3rd. I do host authors on my website once a week and would love to host you with an interview/article sometime. I am booked thru June, but we can set a date if you are interested. My website is www.jessicatornese.com Let me know!
