This book was absolutely breathtaking....vivid imagery, excellent journalistic descriptions of the interrogations....I loved this book for its honesty, and how those who had faith in Christ retained it through the toughest of times. How far could you be pushed and still hold on to and profess your faith in Christ???? Very mind boggling to think about..From the Description:The story of the capture and imprisonment of eight Western aid workers in Afghanistan by the Taliban. For three months in…See More

A Man of His Word by Kathleen Fuller

Although not the biggest fan of Amish fiction, A Man of His Word drew me in with every character, plot, and the poignant description of everyday Amish life. The tension between the two main characters, Moriah and Gabriel was knife cutting, and made me want to continue reading through the night!!!! Ms. Fuller also did an amazing job with character development of the supporting cast along with the leading duo. The author portrays the Amish way of life in a way that actually places the reader into…See More

Rick and Bubba's Guide to the Almost Nearly Perfect Marriage

Rick and Bubba's perspective on marriage is comical, realistic, and adds a touch of facetiousnes to their writing balanced with truthfullnes on all aspects of dating and marriage. Their wives even add their perspective of what the authors are conveying, whether they agree, or sometimes not agree. My husband and I have both read this new edition of Rick and Bubba writing which lends plenty of good advice to veteran couples, which we are, and new couples alike. If you need a laugh, along with…See More

She Went All the Way by Meg Cabot

From the Back Cover:There are a few places screenwriter Lou Calabrese would rather be than crammed into a helicopter with Jack Townsend, star of her claim to fame, Copkiller, and whose ex just ran off with Lou's ex. Talk about uncomfortable. But when, halfway out to the isolated arctic location where Copkiller IV is currently shooting, their pilot turns murderous and their helicopter crashes, Lou realizes her day has just gotten a lot worse. Now, while family and friends back home fret over her…See More

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
