…….“The soldiers are here, Miss Sutton!” Harry ran backward as he yelled to her, his eyes wide with barely contained excitement.

“Which ones, Harry?” Lila’s stomach did a flip-flop of panic. Was it the Confederates? Would they burn and pillage the town?

“Ours! The men in blue, Ma’am.” …………

“ That blond-haired soldier is the one who appeared in my dream. He is the one who will change our lives….”{Excerpts from Book}

Setting… Civil War…Lila Sutton school teacher, and living with her mother. Their home becomes a hospital for the wounded Union Soldiers. Neither mother or daughter having nursing skills, but they still manage to care for all the injured. Jack Montgomery ,Captain of his troop, injured, is taken to the Sutton home……… The blond-haired soldier…… in her mothers dream.
This was such a well written novel that it takes the reader into the midst of the war. As you follow the marriage of Jack and Lila; Jack returning to his troop; through his capture and imprisonment, Reports of his death……… Lila’s courage to go on……. This is an amazing book, the characters are outstanding, and they draw you into their life. Ms Wylie is an excellent writer of the civil war era. This is a story with emotion, a wonderful love story and one that you can not put down. If you are a reader that loves Historical Romance then I highly recommend this book. I could not put the book down and read it one day. ……… You will not want to miss any of Ms. Wylie’s Historical Romances. I know you will not be the least disappointed.

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm a fellow book blogger in Tennessee. I'm trying to contact any/all Tennessee book bloggers who would be interested in being part of a Tennessee Book Bloggers group. Similar to the Utah Book Bloggers. You can read more about them at Natasha of Maw Books Blog's guest post on the BBAW blog. Here's the link: http://bookbloggerappreciationweek.com/index.php/site/friendships_that_are_real_by_natasha_of_maw_books_blog/#When:23:00:05Z

I would initially organize us in an online group on ning or something like it and eventually we would start having social meetings periodically (which would probably be held in Nashville, which is where I'm located). The social meetings might be a ways off until we get a good group going.

Please let me know if you're interested. My blog url is http://thetruebookaddict.blogspot.com/ Please stop by and check it out. I hope that you will consider joining...we (technically I since there is no "we" yet) would love to have you!

Hope to speak with you soon.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
