About Me:
I am me, there are no others. :)
I hate writing about me, but love most other kinds of writing.
I've published a book, "Reba", check out my website.
I love to read!

About Reba: If your family is with you, you don't need the approval of friends; and if your family is big enough, you don't even need friends! Or, you don't if you're Reba Chester. No one else approves of her, or the things she does. "A lady," they claim, "does not rope cattle, she does not ride bareback. A lady does not even know how to handle a gun, and most certainly has never killed a man! A lady does not go visit her sister and deliver her baby nephew before leaving. A lady would never ride in a horse race and she wouldn't refuse a proposal from the aristocratic, landed, but also undeniably dumb and deceitful young Bruce Lawton!" But Reba does all of these things and more. No one but her family approves of her actions, and that doesn't bother her. She's a new kind of lady, and the people of Bramble Ford would do well to realize it!

I've had another book accepted!

I’m exceptionally pleased and exceedingly happy to announce that my second book has been accepted for publication!
The title: "Chester-Shaw: a sequel to Reba"
The synopsis: “Beginning three years after the end of Reba, Chester-Shaw continues the story of Reba and the Chester family as Bramble Ford grows in size and numbers. Reba is now married with a son, and the rest of the Chesters are quickly following suit, bringing spouses and children into the family. All is not peaceful, though, as brothe… Continue

Hi, my name is Michelle. I'm a fellow book blogger in Tennessee. I'm trying to contact any/all Tennessee book bloggers who would be interested in being part of a Tennessee Book Bloggers group. Similar to the Utah Book Bloggers. You can read more about them at Natasha of Maw Books Blog's guest post on the BBAW blog. Here's the link: http://bookbloggerappreciationweek.com/index.php/site/friendships_that_are_real_by_natasha_of_maw_books_blog/#When:23:00:05Z

I would initially organize us in an online group on ning or something like it and eventually we would start having social meetings periodically (which would probably be held in Nashville, which is where I'm located). The social meetings might be a ways off until we get a good group going.

Please let me know if you're interested. My blog url is http://thetruebookaddict.blogspot.com/ Please stop by and check it out. I hope that you will consider joining...we (technically I since there is no "we" yet) would love to have you!

Hope to speak with you soon.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Hi,

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is being released from the University of West Alabama on March 1st, and is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com. I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to mention it on your blog (or consider it for review). I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:
