A few thoughts—this is a work-in-progress although I welcome comments.
I wonder if most writers are like me—at their happiest about halfway through the second draft of a story. It’s agony getting through that first draft because you have no clue (1) where your characters will take you next, and (2) how much research you’ll have to do…

E. Van Lowe said… Hi M.S., I am responding to a comment you left a long time ago. On the 10th. Sorry my response is so long in coming. I am usually quite prompt. Please know that in the future I will get back to you in a timely fashion.
Okay, I still do some TV work. I have a few TV projects out there right now. But they are youth sitcoms which is more in line with what I am doing with novels. I chose paranormal because I had become a fan of YA paranormal with Meg Cabot's The Mediator series and also the Fearless series. I was reading these years before I knew I was going to write my own YA paranormal books. Also, I had developed a youth sitcom for Disney (Even Stevens) and liked the experience. I knew I wanted to work in teen and YA so here I am. If you'd like to know more about what I am currently up to There's a terrific post on my blog: My New Year's Revolution http://vanlowe.blogspot.com/ Thanks for asking. I hope one day you will read my books.

Welcome to Book Blogs—if you are in the oftentimes horrific proposal / query letter process and are hunting for that elusive agent OR… if you have decided to go the ebook way…then remember the proposal process isn’t just for agents. A proposal is your marketing strategy! Join me at The Agent Challenge and leave me a comment. Also, I’m giving away the 2012 big book of agents or a book from one of our mentors.
