I was horribly sick during the first week alone in the woods. I'm okay now, but the sickness made me think of Into the Wild
(1996) by Jon Krakauer. Here was a young man, living his dream, and then dying because he got sick in the wilderness. The idealistic Christopher McCandless could have been anyone. His life unmolded and open to suggestions.
