About Me:
I write fiction and poetry, and a little bizarro thrown in to make life interesting. My first foray into Christian writing is a tale about the three kings and their journey to the newborn Christ--inspired during Mass on Epiphany, this tale seemed to write itself (or guided by another!).

I enjoy cross-country skiing, biking, and burning béarnaise sauce.

Best of luck! I love poetry, and in fact, my last couple of posts have featured poems by Tony Hoagland. Are you familiar with him? If not, take a look at my latest posts to read three wonderful poems by him, at http://www.magicandthemuse.com.

Hi Martin, and welcome to Book Blogs! I'm new here too, and have found it a very friendly and welcoming place. I love that your favorite book is Down and Out in Paris and London. I'm a George Orwell fan from WAY back, though my favorite of his is Burmese Days. What a great model he is for anyone wishing to be a writer, huh? Hey, I checked out your blog- liked the eclectic nature of it--and am now a follower. I'd appreciate it very much if you'd do the same for me (if you like what you see, of course!). Mine's at http://www.magicandthemuse.com. Thanks!
