Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry: Review

A year after graduating from high school, nineteen-year-old Emma Ward feels lost. She has spent most of her life trying to please her frigid, miserable mother - studying hard, getting good grades, avoiding the whole teenage rebellion thing - and now she feels she has no identity beyond that. Because she spent so many years…See More

About Me:
Hi! I’m Mel, I’m 33 years old, and very happily married. I work full time at a mail order pharmacy as a data entry technician. In my (ha-ha) spare time I love to read & share my opinions about books with other readers. I have been reading a lot of young adult lately but really have a diverse library at home to pick from. My all-time favorite book is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott; I just have a connection with Jo that I will never shake. Growing up, books were my escape from life and its many stressors. That certainly has not changed for me. As an adult, I read whenever I get a few moments to myself. My husband often feels like he’s competing with fictional characters for my attention. We make it work, though.

Hi Mel, my name is Larry Rodness and I am inquiring about receiving a review on my newest YA novel entitled, "Perverse", published by Itoh Press in both print and electronic formats. Synopsis as follows: 19 year old Emylene Stipe is a 2nd generation Goth who, like every teenage girl, is trying to find her place in the world. One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends. But Poinsettia has an ulterior motive for her sudden and strange intrusion into her host's life which causes Emylene to question her whole belief system. Hi, I wanted to greet you as I just joined the website.  I have recently published a FREE (donation based) eBook and I would be thrilled if you included a review on your site.  Here is a ditty about it:

The generous seas do roam vividly,

And sacred words spoken earnestly.

People suffer and people go to war,

I just hope these words will go afar.

On 26-4-2013 I published a FREE book,

Indeed a feat of altruism, no crook!

I suffer in silence in every moment.

I have no money to publish a stunt.

I was just hoping for word-of-mouth

And email propagation as loudmouth.

Book is at: http://bookbooster.com/newage.htm

I accept feedback just at: percarus@hotmail.com

OFFICIALLY THE MOST ELOQUENT STORY TELLING POETRY BOOK EVER WRITTEN -ALL NON FICTION-

Hello  Mel,

Welcome to Book Blogs, I have forged many friendships here with avid readers and prolific writers. We help each other out and have a great time while we do so. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with. Archway to Acknowledgement is a group that can increase your following on twitter if you are interested in that. I have joined many groups that fit the topics I write about and that can help me market my debut novel and prepare me for the one I will release next spring.

If you get a chance please check out http://www.TheBridgeofDeaths.com a Paranormal, Historical Romance. I hope you enjoy Book Blogs as much as I have,

Catalina
