- I am a North Carolina native and now make my home in London with my husband and young son. One of my earliest memories is taking the city bus to the public library each week with my mother. I recall looking forward with great excitement to reading about the shy cat Harry and the little black cat with a big heart, Jenny Linsky. I now enjoy reading daily with E and ensuring his bookshelf is filled with a mix of old favorites and new finds.

One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends.
