IF AND WHEN NATURE CALLS A SENIOR CITIZEN The new definition of regularity By Neale McClintock

Senior citizens know a lot of stuff. Most of them have continued to keep learning as the years go by, at least if they are smart they do. I have been on this earth almost 80% of a century and my main learning lately, is how to use technology. I am fairly competent on the computer and can do many things including photo editing and using Micro Soft Word processing. Hey I am doing it right now! I have used this to write a couple of books that are on Amazon as eBooks and paperback. Type n my…See More

AFTER THE SECOND BOOK----

.After you write your first book, good or bad, you surprise friends who never thought you were capable of such a chore. When you self edit, self publish, and actually sell a few books, people start to believe that anything is possible. The next step is to write a second book, self edit it and self publish it. When you do this people start to ask what will you write net and when will it be ready. By this time you start to feel like an author, even if you didn’t follow the more difficult path of…See More

HOW CLOSE TO THE LAND ARE WE?

I have just finished my second book. It is entitled "A Curmudgeon's True Tales of the Outdoors, Or Maybe Not" It is truth and fiction combined in stories about things to do or things I have done in the great open spaces of my world. There are stories of hunting, fishing, and personal observations of things that happen outside. The growth of technology in the past one hundred years make it seem that it was centuries ago that we needed to live off the land to the best of our abilities. Local Newspaper will view my Book

A local newspaper, the Utica Observer Dispatch will check my book "A Curmudgeon's True Tales of the Outdoors"  and mention it in the Sunday Outdoor Column. I have followed John Pitarttesi, the writer for a long time and respect his views on the outdoor activities of hunting, fishing and so on. Ironically, I delivered this paper in my hometown of Brookfield, NY when I was a boy along with my brothers. He wasn't around then since I am a bit older than he is.We hunted, fished, trapped and played…See More

Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.

It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.

The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.

I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.

My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.

kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Neale,

I truly appreciated your review.  I am curious what made you decide to read the book.  I loved reading your bio. I grew up outside of Albany, I love to fish, and I am a teacher.  Looking forward to reading your book.

Hi!

Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My second novel, Reaping Me Softly, has just been released by Omnific Publishing last October 30, 2012.

Ever since a near-death-experience on the operating table, seventeen-year-old Arianne Wilson can see dead people. Just as she’s learned to accept her new-found talents, she discovers that the boy she’s had a crush on since freshman year, Niko Clarke, is a Reaper.

At last they have something in common, but that doesn’t mean life is getting any easier. All while facing merciless bullying from the most powerful girl in school, Arianne’s world is turned upside down after Niko accidentally reaps the soul of someone she loves.  This sends them both into a spiral that threatens to end Arianne’s life. But will Niko break his own Reaper’s code to save her? And what would the consequences be if he did?

Grab your copy now at:

Amazon

Omnific Publishing

I hope you enjoy your stay here! Lots of great people and interesting topics. If there's anything you might need, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my page.

Sincerely,

Kate

A belated, but hearty, welcome to Book Blogs! I am an author of middle reader fantasies (Random House) and medical reference books. (It's an odd combination, I know.) I keep a how-to blog for aspiring authors: how to get an agent, how to work with an editor, how to promote your work, best websites for writers in various genres, and so on. My latest post is: ISBNs: When You Need One and When You Don't. You can view it in two places:

http://publishedtodeath.blogspot.com/

and on my website:

http://www.ericaverrillo.com/

I write a second blog with useful tips for treating and coping with CFS/ME (aka chronic fatigue syndrome):

http://cfstreatment.blogspot.com/

and on the website: http://www.cfstreatmentguide.com/ (the website also contains lots of resources)

My book, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: A Treatment Guide, 2nd Edition, will be free on Amazon on February 16. Go here: http://www.amazon.com/Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome-Treatment-ebook/dp/B009B9X36Y/
