- I'm a 29yrold kiwi who's recently discovered the joy of writing! For years it was reading and I used to dream of being locked in a book store overnight so I could read to my hearts content. Then I decided to have a shot at a story. And have since published my first novel The Arrival (BirthRight Trilogy, Book 1) and am working on a variety of other stories (Book 2 included),

A little stuck… can you help?
I’m trying to find the right actor to ‘play’ Rumal. Rumal was originally inspired by my friend Sandra’s (Kassie) ex boyfriend. A lovely six foot+ African American gentleman. As my friend (in the book as well as real life) is only just five foot I just loved the idea of the contrast between those two so that’s how Rumal was originally inspired.
