Career woman by day (tech writer and director of publications), I am a freelance journalist, book reviewer for a SAUCE magazine and a book editor, working projects with Liguori Publications, and maybe a novelist, that is, I have two in progress. I am a nanowrimo participator and winner - now I just need to get two ms. out of the drawer and into revision. But I'm also a bookaholic, can't resist the call of the novel (and good poetry) and love to write, working my blog, notes, letters, emails, journals, etc. Want to stop me in my tracks? Throw a book in my path.
You can find my more consistent posting at http://westcobich.wordpress.com where I write about books, paper and "real" life centering around....books and paper!
Sometimes I review, sometimes I chat or natter on, sometimes I just include a photo that's meant to tell a story. Stop by and visit. Leave your own URL and I'll visit you in return.
Home from work. Stole one hour (my lunch hour) out of a 10-hour work day to do some writing. It keeps me sane. Now, if I could get good at it. Hoping to steal some reading time tonight. I am reading a Murakami novel and Cisneros's HOUSE ON MANGO STREET. I am in love with the latter book. So. well. done!!!!!!!!!!
I never planned to have a second blog but a bookaholic needs a place to hang her hat, er, book-in-progress, er, that is, a place to relax among other book lovers.
Stay tuned...doing the not so unusual thing of reading two books at once and should have something to share.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”
Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."
Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"
Book Synopsis:
The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.
The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
