For Authors and bloggers, especially beginning Indie Authors

I have just started a blog with a unique purpose. As an Indie Author, I had to spend weeks finding programs, resources, fonts, photographs, etc., all of the mundane garbage necessary to put a book together and upload it from scratch. I have decided to help other authors. It was a royal pain finding not just free, but instead free for commercial use items which were legal to use in creating my books. A person doesn't really think about whether the font they just used will get them into legal…See More

The cover below is for my new novel I am working on. So far with my other books, I have found I can do how to covers all day long, yet the fiction covers have been less than "lacking" in appeal.(Personally I would have called the last couple for "Surviving In America: Under Siege" absolutely garbage.)I worked my rear end off on this one for "Surviving With Joe", and want to know what everyone thinks. …See More

I need beta readers for "Surviving With Joe", a 130,000+ word post apocalyptic novel.

I am looking for five people willing to be critiquing beta readers (not reviewers) of a work that is in editing. Readers would have a chance to read my novel before it is open to publishing, and would get a free electronic version of the completed work, and a by name/area of expertise mention in the 'acknowledgments page' of the completed and published work.I was final editing line by line, and around approx chapter 10 noticed that there might well be some of these problems in the story.…See More

TEOTWAWKI Book Looking for reviewers/reviews

PLEASE NOTE: Unlike most writers in my genre, I do not use prolific or unnecessary cussing or filthy language in my writing, nor do I use sex as a selling point for my books. I was asked about these relevant problems with all too many works by a blogger, and wish to reassure potential readers that you will not be subjected to the f-bomb in any of my works. I believe cussing is both unnecessary and that it actually detracts from the story, so therefore have restricted the language usage to a…See More

Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.

It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.

The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.

I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.

My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.

kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Hi, Paul!

Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My debut novel Taste has just been released by Crescent Moon Press last April 30, 2012.

At Barinkoff Academy, there's only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. With his pale skin, dark eyes, and mesmerizing voice, Demitri is both irresistible and impenetrable. He warns her to stay away from his dangerous world of flesh eaters. Unfortunately, the gorgeous and playful Luka has other plans.

When Phoenix is caught between her physical and her emotional attraction, she becomes the keeper of a deadly secret that will rock the foundations of an ancient civilization living beneath Barinkoff Academy. Phoenix doesn’t realize until it is too late that the closer she gets to both Demitri and Luka the more she is plunging them all into a centuries old feud.

Grab your copy now at:

Amazon
Barnes & Noble

I hope you enjoy your stay here! Lots of great people and interesting topics. If there's anything you might need, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my page.

Sincerely,

Kate
