Changing my book title...

Readers - what do you really think about free ebooks?

There has been a lot of moaning recently, on author forums and communities, about free ebooks killing the self publishing market. With so many free books why would anyone need to buy one! Is this the case though? It got me thinking, because luckily (or maybe not luck) my sales aren't down - infact they're up for the beginning of May - so what do readers think of a book if they see it's up for free? Getting on with it?

Getting on with it...?I'm meant to be getting on with the next teen book in my trilogy, but another picture book story popped into my mind the other night!It was one of those stories that was just written in an evening and has had very little tidying up to do. what would you call success?

My idea of success keeps changing! I've gone through most on my list below but every time I acheive one goal I NEED to create another!At what point would you say "Yep! Are our tastes so different?

Hi, isn't it odd how a book can do well on only one side of the pond?My newest children's picture ebook, 'Pipsey the Penguin', is selling like hot muffins in the US, but only a dribble in UK.Whereas one of my first ever picture ebooks, 'Hairy Scary Spider?' sells into the double figures every day in the UK, but takes a week in the US to do the same.Why is that?Are our tastes so different?www.tothewillowgarden.co.uk…See More
