About Me:
My name is Peter Kelly I prefer Pete. I am a major fan of all things ficition. I love creating new worlds in my head and then putting them down on paper. In a few months my first book Dawn of The Shadow will be released and I couldnt be more excited. The company giving me this chance Dream Books llc is allowing me to fullfill a dream of mine to create a hero that is all of my creation in Shadow.

Gray vs Black and white

I was having a talk with a fellow writer and I was describing two books series I am working on. One is what I have been advertising for a while Dawn of the Shadow. The other is a cop book I am working on called Its Just a Family Thing. These books are action stories where the battle between good and evil I realized is much different. What I realized is a superhero tale, like Dawn of the shadow and Its Just a Family thing, the battle…

Movie Blog

I have mentioned this before but here goes again. On my website I review movies, new ones and old, for those who dont get a chance to see whats out there. Here is my latest.

I know these movies are ridiculous in every way. Video games redesigned for movies aren't what you might call the best options for original material but sometimes it works. The first Resident evil was weird and a little funny, but after the second came out then the third…

Characters who mean something

When I wrote Dawn of the shadow i wrote it using great friends as basis for specific characters. This was ten years ago and it made sense at the time. But things change, just like life. Friends who mattered then may have become jerks today. Sometimes it becomes easier to expect the best of people because you know they will let you down. Im tired of always expecting people to let me down. In my entire life only one person has ever meant a damn to me and never ever let me down. From day one I… Continue

The outside world

When I am writing, when I am really in the moment of a story I feel like the world around me doesnt exist. I tend to put myself into my writing as it allows me to really understand the world I am trying to create. I dont know how this translate for others when they read my work but I find it helpful. The draw back is when i stop writing or typing and go back to my job it feels like the job is getting in the way. Its weird i day dream i am the characters i create which just gets me bored as I go… Continue

Thanks Peter, our project is very much a family affair. My middle daughter designed the site, her boyfriend coded it, and his brother did the illustrations. My older daughter is in PR and she helps with content. And my wife is always there to make sure I don't get too impressed with myself. Ha.
Have a great weekend,
Steve

anyone reading my wall check out the following from aronald harper its awesome

made my novel, The Flesh Statue, available on the Kindle for $6, and you'll be able to download it wirelessly. I think that's pretty cool. So this is what I think. Comment with me if you have a book on Kindle that I can download. Hopefully it's cheap. I'll purchase a book of yours, if for nothing else, the fact that I shamelessly solicited my book to you. Hold on, let me finish soliciting.

here's a link to my website (shamelessly)
http://ulharper.com/index.html

Here's a link to my blog here on book blogs (shamelessly)

Here is a link to a an interview by nicole trist, if you're curious in that way. (Shamelessly)

And if you want to know more about me or the story here is a link to another author interview (completely shameless)

Alright. Enough shameless selling. Though feel free to post links to any of your projects in my comment strand.

Thanks everyone out there in book land.

I'm sorry. What was the name of your book? And where can I purchase it or read it. I'm looking for a new read coming up here soon and, hell, why not yours. Thanks for the compliment on the blog.

I bet that you are. I'm sure I will be at that point, too. Just keep having faith in your work and you'll be fine. But don't hesitate to contact me if you need a little pick me up or a friend to talk to. :)

It's going good. Thanks for asking. I'm in the process of a complete rewrite(my own doing), and am steadily working away. Can't wait for your release. It sounds very interesting. :)

I agree with your new blog post completely. I tried to post a message but I had a hard time on your site and I didn't even know that I had gone there. Regardless, good post. Maybe my message went through, I don't know. And, oh yeah, I just posted my first blog. I'd love it if you checked it out.
