If interested in doing a review of Progeny, let me know...

 Here are some existing reviews:

"From the first chapter I was completely hooked.

Anyone who enjoys adventure stories or magical and paranormal I would suggest you give this a try. For me, Progeny is in league with both The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings and far better than Harry Potter - Progeny has a wealth of depth to it that I haven't seen in many books.

Progeny is well paced, and seamlessly weaves lots of stories and characters without effort or flaw."

-Clover Hill Book Reviews

“When I picked up Progeny, I was soon swept up into a world so large, and a tale so relentless, that I could not put it down. The plot flows as strongly as a waterfall but manages to pace itself and keep the reader guessing.

The disparate characters we meet along the way are intriguing and richly nuanced, reminding one of Tolkien's without being derivative. This is a big book and a big world, surprisingly well conceived for a first novel. I very much look forward to the next book in the series, and I strongly encourage Mr. Kaelin to keep writing.”

-D. Kistner, Associate Editor of FutureCycle Press

"Progeny is the debut novel of R.T. Kaelin and I have to say I was really impressed. The story moves right along, but Kaelin takes the time to flesh it out and give the world and the characters depth. I got caught up and wanted to know what happens next. Not to mention wanting to know more and more about the world I was immersed into.

Overall, I would favorably compare his writing with Brandon Sanderson, Scott Lynch, (early) Robert Jordan and even a bit of David Eddings flavor mixed in. I really enjoyed this book and my biggest disappointment is going to be waiting for the next installment."

Second Edition of 'Progeny' available.

If life is a journey, my life as an author has been a meandering one full of wrong exits, unintended pit-stops, and wrong turns. I should have bought a map. Progeny was my debut effort as a novelist. When I first released it in December 2010 as an indie author, I believed I had created a wonderful tale worthy of sharing with the world. To this day, that belief holds true. However, my ability to weave a story far outpaced my skill as a writer. I might have told a good story, but I had not…See More

Author looking for interviews...

On December 1, 2010, Progeny (Print edition) was released by Terrene Press. On February 4, 2011, the Kindle edition was published. The book has garnered some great reviews and feedback, both by published reviewers as well as regular readers, but I am still looking to find a footing. About Me:
Author R.T. Kaelin is a loving husband, father of two wonderful children, and a lifelong resident of Ohio, currently in Columbus. After graduating from college, for the first twelve years of his career he has worked as a software engineer. After creatively writing a local gaming group, it was suggested he try his hand at writing something more prodigious. Encouraged, he finally committed to the undertaking, writing the first book of his The Children of the White Lions series, Progeny. When he is not writing, he loves to travel and has a passion for cooking.
