- My name is Rachel, I am 27 years old and I completely obsessed with young adult novels. I mainly tend to read YA paranormal romances, but I do also enjoy urban fantasies, science fiction and on occasion a good romance novel. I have decided to start this blog because over the last year I realized that I read a new YA novel every few weeks or so and since I am always recommending ones that I finish to my friends, I may as well recommend them to the internet world as well. One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends.
