Formatting questions..any advice welcome!

Hi everyone, I am beyond frustrated right now and looking for any advice or opinions..I uploaded my book to the Nook and Kindle and of course had issues with the formatting. Blank pages showed up, indents were all messed up, etc. I downloaded sigil and it helped a bit, but still wasn't perfect. So I found someone on Smashwords via "Mark's list" who agreed to fix my book. About Me:: I'm a stay at home mom to three girls, married 13 years to a great guy I met in high school! I love to do anything creative, but of course have always love to read and write. After a year and a half, I finally finished my first book and decided to self-publish to the Nook for starters.
