Thanks! I wouldn't have asked if i could find a pretty black and white one, but i've checked like ten blog template sites and still haven't found one...so, i figured i'd try to tweak mine on my own : ) i'm going to play with the coding right now like you said and see if i can get it.

thanks! i actually just found out how to change the red. now i just got to do the two to three columns...but, it is possible right? i'm trying to learn : )

it probably isn't possible, but i was wondering if you knew of a way to turn a two-column design into three column. and make the red coloring behind the header disappear. i sort of suck at codes and whatnot and i tried to find a tutorial but the only one i did sounded like gibberish to me. if there's any way you could help, it would be great but if its something too time consuming or whatnot i totally understand.
