That's about right. I guess you see who you can count on and who you can't....such a shame. Although, on the other hand, I also have a few friends that want to read and tell me I may not like their criticism...these same people haven't taken pen to paper in a decade. Just makes me shake my head.

I was wondering, when you asked friends to read your books, was it a first copy? I've ran into that when I ask mine to review a chapter and be honest on it, they scatter and suddenly say they have no time to read. I'm guessing their worried about hurting my feelings with their comments. I can take the criticism, but how did you get your friends to understand that?
