Book Trailers

Hi everyone! I just released a short story today and plan to follow that up with another novel soon. To advertise the short story, I created a posted with the release date. However, I've noticed more authors are doing book trailers to help marketing and advertising. I would love to make one, but not sure how to do it. Is it just making a poster or is it like a commercial, like what they do for movies? Can anyone offer any advice or where I can see good examples on how to make a really good trailer? Even if have advice on advertising I'd take that as well. Thanks so much!!RichardSee More

So, can anyone enlighten me further on how this works? Also, how I can get readers or reviewers to participate? I'm excited to get people to read my book, but I also would like to have people who are truly interested. Can anyone offer any advice on how I should go about this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.Just to feed your curiosity, the name of my book is The Angelites - Book One and I've included two links that describe it further. Here is my book review by Asli Fratarcangeli for Yah Gotta Read This!http://yahgottareadthis.blogspot.ca/2013/02/the-angelites-book-1-by-robert-moran.htmlHere is my author spotlight by Sienna Logan from…See More

Hi, I came across your blog, and I thought you would be the perfect person to contact.

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.

It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.

The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.

I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.

My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.

kindest regards,
Jay Siva

Hi!

Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My second novel, Reaping Me Softly, has just been released by Omnific Publishing last October 30, 2012.

Ever since a near-death-experience on the operating table, seventeen-year-old Arianne Wilson can see dead people. Just as she’s learned to accept her new-found talents, she discovers that the boy she’s had a crush on since freshman year, Niko Clarke, is a Reaper.

At last they have something in common, but that doesn’t mean life is getting any easier. All while facing merciless bullying from the most powerful girl in school, Arianne’s world is turned upside down after Niko accidentally reaps the soul of someone she loves.  This sends them both into a spiral that threatens to end Arianne’s life. But will Niko break his own Reaper’s code to save her? And what would the consequences be if he did?

Grab your copy now at:

Amazon
Barnes & Noble

Omnific Publishing

I hope you enjoy your stay here! Lots of great people and interesting topics. If there's anything you might need, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my page.

Sincerely,

Kate
