I've thought about e-readers. I'd like one that is expandable (ie. The Nook i think takes those Memory chips that are easy to find), isn't a strain on the eyes in different lighting, and has the…Continue

I'm trying to help a friend start a book reading group site on blogger/blogspot. She is trying to add her mother as a participant, but it's requiring a google sign-in? Is there any way around this? Also, is there an easy/nice way to handle discussions without having to verify each participant. She wants people to be able to jump in, sign in, and start a discussion on a book each month, week, etc. So far, All I could think of is through comments. I know everyone here is much more familiar…See More

This is an area I haven't been 100% comfortable with so far. What is the difference in an interview and a Q&A? What questions do you like to ask? How are they usually conducted? What do you ask if you haven't yet read the book? What advice can you give for people who aren't veterans at this type of blog post? The same with Guest Features? How do you decide what to ask the guest to post about? See More
I've thought about e-readers. I'd like one that is expandable (ie. The Nook i think takes those Memory chips that are easy to find), isn't a strain on the eyes in different lighting, and has the ability to take notes on the books being read. So wonder if I should invest in an e-reader, if so what kind, or wait for the I-Pad or get a netbook. I'm okay with the graphics, etc. being in B/W (But would love color). So essentially I want 1) Easy to Read2) Ability to add memory discs3) Note…See More

Stop by and check them out, they're a pretty friendly group. Tell them Rhodes Review referred you. The link is http://mysite.verizon.net/vze12lbpe/
I received a book via UPS today. I don't remember requesting a review. Do you ever get books you don't remember requesting or trying to win. I'm not sure who to send the review to, or a thank you to for the contest. I'm not sure what to do after I've read it. It's one I wanted to read, but I don't remember any details associated with it.

Been doing reviews for about a year for a Star Wars fan website. I read a broad range of subjects, from politics, and history, to sci-fi and fantasy. I'm not too fond of reading thinks like cookbooks, instruction manuals, etc.
Spread the word and the email. Make sure people out there get it. If you know anyone who's going through it just talk to them or at least be nice to them to show them how you care and how they have someone out there they can trust. If you have any ideas just try them out and say so, so that everyone can follow suit. Anything you do can help. =D
I WISH I COULD REACH YOU TO GIVE YOU A GREAT BIG HUG!!! I will show the information to my husband as soon as he gets home, I have true hope now. I worked with an occupational therapist after my accident and we tried a machine fiskers makes for cutting paper but was terrible inaccurate and pulled at the fabric. We gave up hope, I can sew one handed but can't cut fabric and kept talking about family cutting a bunch of squares for me but they are so busy, with hope like this i may be making quilts again in no time. I wish I would have known this 7 years ago. THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!
