- Barbara Tuchman's quote is very true. I, too love books, but kids are something else. Mine were superfantastic as children buyt became Narnian Dragons after they married . . . and they still are both married and Dragons. One wife is, I suspect, a warm and loving mother but mentally challenged. The other is a manipulator and controlnik as well as downright evil.
So I hesitate to become a member of a list loaded with potential soccer moms. I might stay silently around for a few days and see whether this blog is for me.
