- I was born in Ethiopia, Africa. That is probably the most interesting fact about me! I grew up in Southern California with my three brothers and one sister as well as Mom and Dad. I enjoyed the outdoors a lot and couldn’t get enough of it. After graduating from high school, I went on to college to become an elementary school teacher. In the process, I married my wonderful husband, Chris, and we had three great children; Robert, Robyn, and Ryanna. We now reside in Ventura County, California, where I substitute teach, have my own marketing business, and write in my spare time. I have written and published The True Story of Cinderella and A Day with Duke. I hope one day to own a ranch in Colorado to raise a whole bunch of chickens!
