- I come from a land down under... little ol' New Zealand. I work in the media industry in Wellington, the coolest little capital in the world (according to Lonely Planet) When I'm not working, I'm either reading, writing or procrastinating.
I love, love, love books. I'm always reading something, and my favourite authors are Diana Gabaldon, Paullina Simons and Joanne Harris.
I hope to get my own novel published one day - I'm about 40,000 words through it at the moment. It's set in Wellington during War Two and also 2010, and involves a bit of time travel, a couple of steamy love stories, a murder or two, a prison escape, and whatever else I dream up.
So watch this space for the next Great New Zealand Novel!

One night she comes upon an old painting in an antique store and is compelled to purchase it. When she brings it home an image of a young woman appears in the sketch and then magically materializes in her apartment. Emylene nick-names her 'Poinsettia' and they soon become fast friends.
