- TheBookAddict.Net started as an extension of my love of reading and discussing books.
Reading is my escape, and so I like to read anything I can get my hands on--and listen to audiobooks in my car while I am driving. I love the whirlwind feeling of being caught up and swept away by a great story. Nothing is better. Well, nothing except for talking about the books with anyone I meet.
I love Young Adult novels. The euphoria of a first love. The sorrow of a first heartbreak. The excitement of the first road trip. The characters’ search to find themselves and what they stand for. And if the author can throw a little magic in the mix, all the better for me.
I love Non-Fiction. History, How-To, Memoirs, Trivia. I love to learn and reading Non-Fiction allows me to explore new concepts and ideas from the comfort of my own home.
Really I just love books! Book Addict Reviews is where I review the books that I have read.
I have a two-year-old daughter who keeps me on my toes. My daughter enjoys exploring like Dora and Diego, so there is never a dull moment in my house. Yogi Mommy Writes It Down is the blog where I explore being a parent, share ideas for activities that my daughter and I have enjoyed together, and review the books I read with my daughter.
