Everyone wants to be heard. We all want our points understood; our ideas to matter and our feelings considered. And when we are not heard, we can feel frustrated and insignificant. If we feel ignored enough times we begin to question the importance of our own points and ideas, which can eventually damage our feelings of self-worth.
We live in loud society. The various outlets of social media remind us that there is always someone with something to say. And all the…

The publishing industry is changing. Literary agents, publishing houses and especially writers are being affected by these changes. Writers are no longer subjugated to the capriciousness of the publishing industry's ever-changing tastes. With the development of social media, we now have the autonomy to write and publish our own work and then allow readers to decide if our work has value. These changes have enabled previously unknown writers and their work to find an audience. …

“We are so scared of being judged that we look for every excuse to procrastinate.”
-Erica Jong
One of the greatest ironies is the writer who doesn't write. The person who reads books like one devouring cupcakes after a ten-day juice fast. The person, who is passionate about prose, recites lines of poetry, memorizes quotes from the classics and loves to tell a good story. The person who declares "writer" as a profession yet often fails to write.
Why does a…

Thanks to the advances in technology, there are many people who now are able to work from home. More and more people are discovering the benefits and realizing the drawbacks of making your basement, spare bedroom or unused space at home an office. It is knowledge that writers have had for a long time. After all, rare is the occasion when someone pays one to sit in an office in a high-rise building and pen a novel.
To the commuting, office-dwelling, 9-5 worker bees the…

My name is Jay Siva, the founder of EZBuyButton.com, an easy 'buy book' widget for authors. I'm contacting you today because I think you and your readers would love to know about the EZBuyButton widget I've created.
It is the most advanced 'buy now' widget for selling books. I make it free for authors and publishers, worldwide, to quickly and easily create and use our EZBuyButton widget to place on their website or blog to immediately increase the sales of their books, especially if their books are listed for sale in more than one retail store. I made it super easy, with just a few clicks they just copy & paste a piece of code onto their website/blog, and they're done.
The widget allows website visitors to select which device they'd like to use to read the author's book, and then select their preferred retail store that they'd like to purchase the book from. It also geolocates the visitor's location and will send the visitor to the correct country specific retail store so that they can buy the author's book. The widget is also fully customizable, and the author will have access to detailed real-time statistics of the use of their widget.
I would like to invite you to visit my website, and try out the EZBuyButton widget. I hope you find that my widget will be useful to you and your readers, including all the authors, literary agents, and publishers you're in contact with.
My website is http://www.ezbuybutton.com.
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for your time.
kindest regards,
Jay Siva
